Paborn,

I have posted recently on this cite (somewhere) that raw apple cider vinegar (the liquid form, not the capsules) has just started working for me on my GA (granuloma anulare).  One week and its like a true miracle.  It is halfway better!  Wish I knew why such a cheap over-the-counter medicine works so well on such a stubborn ailment.  Anyways, its worth a try!

My boyfriend's grandmother who has P swears by apple cider vinegar. Apparently she was covered. Used the vinegar every night before going to bed and cleared up completely (don't know how long it took). I have P and have tried - but not for long because it is just too stinky for me.

Good luck with it!

Unfortunately it didn't help my granuloma annulare and I drank the stuff for a few weeks. BLEECK!
Sounds like it works for some and not others. Huh??

I was told to use it for my dogs ears and also helps with UTI...so is it good for acne or HS?

Drinking it?? I couldn't even imagine that. I have always heard of using it as a topical treatment, not drinking it. Has anyone tried that?

this was when I tried it before - there's a link further down the page to Shirley McLain's website - she is very pro-cider vinegar and describes it very well.
edit - Don't bother trying the link I mention, the article has disappeared! Looks like everything is for sale, not free. I'll see if I can find the article on the Web...

It's a good site to explore I think, but don't feel you have to buy anything if they're recommending it: Holland and Barrett sell it very cheaply by the bottle, and I should imagine most health food shops.

I drank it, but in a very diluted manner.  One-half teaspoon in a 16 ounce glass of water.  It is more tolerable than you think, especially if your seeing results.  It is so diluted that it mostly tastes like water.  I heard some people add honey to it, too.  Others also use a different formula (ie. 1 teaspoon to an 8 0z. glass of water) but I could never tolerate that.  Anyways, just my 2¢.
