Has anyone heard that crazy frog ringtone thats going around at the moment?
Well here's some interesting facts about that ringtone and its origins.
A friend of mine once worked as the BAR F1 Teams Radio Engineer and it was a friend of his who wrote it as a micky take for the Renault F1's team new engine design that they had. Trouble is the engine had a few problems with it and would on the "odd" occasion blow up! That sound effect was played over the team's loud speakers when ever a Renault came into the pits.
So there you go this "new" ringtone has infact been around for about 4 years!

I seem to have lost it from my PC but my mate says he has got it still and will E Mail me from work with it. I can pass it onto you then and if your mobile is compatable you should be able to load it up have it as a ring tone. |

CP, please say it ain't true! #2 - If you paid for it, you need to immediately send me money since you have nothing better to do with it. #3 - "Humdiddadumblublumblum..." or whatever the f**k he says is so friggin' ridiculous, I'll have to smack the phone out of your hand if I hear it. #4 - I swear that I will knife your tires if your phone goes off during a movie with this tone and me in the same theater. You know what? I was actually woken up last night by that sound on tv. Must have been a commercial for the tone provider. Then again, what do I know? I still say that these guys are funny as hell... ("Quiznos says a guy from their ad firm received the clip in an e-mail from a friend and decided it was perfect for a new campaign." He was promptly fired - out of a cannon.) The one with the pirate hat is called "The Commodore".  okay Gary, I'm embaressed, but yes, I still want it ! thanks for the link I have 3 little kids here you know, and we like to have a giggle  I guess that is his winkle but they couldnt exactly make it his main feature now could they, there now showing him on our TV. I first heard this 'ringtone' tho months ago, someone posted it in the funny thread, it wasnt Crazy frog then tho, it was watching a grand prix car go round.
