SkinCell is available to all skin disorder sufferers and their families. It is an open and free forum where you can discuss any skin condition you choose.

SkinCell offers a fully interactive chat facility to its members including:

Moderators

SkinCell is very fortunate to have a first class team of moderators in the forum and chat room.
These moderators, using the forum names of Bri9801, Val, Totalfolly, Wooley, Bamawing, Gary, Andyb and Electric Ianare available throught the forum to offer help, advice and to guide you in using the tools and facilities that the forum offers.
On rare ocassions the moderators may need to move or amend a message thread that has inadvertantly been placed in an inappropriate category or may contain certain coding errors.
It is a strict self-imposed policy that any moderator will always notify the member of any changes or movements made to their post.

Advertising

We do not rely of any form of corporate sponsorship, there are no banner ads of any description, no annoying pop-up windows and all information provided is monitored by the moderators. There are very few rules regarding the use of the forum as we try to be as relaxed as possible, however, we do employ a Code of Conduct which we ask all would-be members to agree to prior to registration.
Unfortunatley it is not possible to register without first agreeing to abide by these principles.
We do not permit any form of banner advertising anywhere within SkinCell except for sites approved on the official SkinCell Links Directory
Any business or organisation wishing to provide a link to their own site in the forum is welcome to do so providing it is health related and does not break the forum Code of Conduct

Registration

You can register immediately if you wish by clicking register

In order to register you must provide two essential pieces of information;
  • A unique Username (eg. Fred, Bob101, Scratcher88 ...)
  • A valid e-mail address
Any e-mail addresses are kept strictly confidential unless the member wishes to reveal it to the forum by selecting the appropriate option in their Personal Profile.

Please note.
A valid email address is required to send you your unique private password to allow you to enter the forum. Without this password it is not possible to complete the registration process and your selected Username will not function.
Invalid E-mail addresses will not be accepted by the forum and any such errors are autiomtically reported to the forum administrator. If an error report is received, we allow a short while for the apllicant to contact either a moderator or the administrator. If we do not receive any such email the Username will be deleted to allow the re-use of the selected Username.
