Title: Skin problems
Post by: ammylin on Wednesday December 19, 2012, 12:57:39 AM
Skin problems and being a vegetarian?

I've read a lot about people, having their skin problems go away(acne, etc) after becoming a vegetarian. I've been a vegetarian for about 2 months(excluded fish and chicken), but didn't eat meat for about 5 months. And i thought it would be great(health would improve, etc) But my skin just keeps getting worse and worse.

Why?? What am i doing wrong?

Sorry to hear that your skin is getting worse. :(

Skin problems are very complex. What works for one person might not work for another. For my pompholyx, soaking the skin works best. I don't think my diet would help. And my acne was terrible no matter what I ate... I eventually just grew out of it.

You probably aren't doing anything "wrong..." it's just that going vegetarian hasn't helped you. Something else might. What else have you tried?

Do you have any good suggestions to change my skin problems?
