You mention two things, Garden of Life Raw Ultimate Care probiotic, and "RAW digestive enzymes".  What specific digestive enzyme product did you use?

Thanks, and glad you are having success with this treatment!

Hi All, I havenít posted here in a while, but I thought I should share my success story with Groverís.  Iím a 51yr old male and Iíve suffered with it for over 20yrs every winter so Iíll try to condense this down.

Initially, I had similar success with VitD like others, but it didnít last.  Later, I thought I had a breakthrough when I cut out red wine after hearing a similar story from someone else.  Next I tried using the elimination diet found bananas, oatmeal and Grey Poupon mustard (go figure) got rid of it.

Although, now Iím starting to think this whole thing has been a leaky gut that is progressively getting worse.  Sure enough, after only a year relief it came back again and no food item elimination would make it go away.  My research on leaky gut found it can be related to bad diet and poor microbiome.  I never eat junk food and Iíve been eating mostly organic and take probiotics for the last 14 years.

Since there was no way for me to eat healthier, I figured it must me an issue with my microbiome.  So I started to to eat every pre and probiotic thing in could get my hands on and try different vendorís probiotics.  Iíve heard that there are millions of different strains of probiotics in our bodies and each vendor with have their own ďproprietaryĒ version, right.

Looking for a probiotic with the most strains I found Garden of Lifeís RAW Ultimate Care (100 Billion live cultures and more importantly, 34 different strains).  I ended up coupling this with RAW digestive enzymes to help out my digestion and sure enough, after the 30day regime my Groverís is gone.  I took off 30days and then did another regime of 30days to help establish this new culture of good bacteria in my gut.

Iíve only been clear for about 10month now, but I feel pretty good about it this time.  I did an experiment and had red wine, bananas and Dijion over the last 3month with no flare ups!!  The red wine used to be a very strong contributor to my Groverís.
I hope this helps some  :)

BTW...VitD 5-10k IU takers be carefulÖI suffered from really bad night time shin cramps and upset stomach while taking VitD which I later found was a symptom of too much Vit D.

I've uploaded my awful situation. http://www.skincell.org/gallery/index.php?cat=33501  I'll try muster to go back to my doctor. Would this be HS?

Read about Pyoderma Gangrenosum. If you have Crohns, IBS, or another autoimmune disease it is highly likely.

I am recently diagnosed with PG. First ulcer was on my breast. Second ulcer was on my breast. Both were on scars from breast reduction surgery. I understand that is not uncommon. I am noe having an outbreak on my right leg - nine ulcers in under a week. Currently they are under control with Clobetasol ointment.

Would love to connect with other PG patients!

Hi all!

This is a short update. My condition has been improving slowly but surely. I have added a new ointment to the several products that I use on my skin (see my last post) that seems to accelerate the healing: cannabis ointment. I have not seen anyone mentioning this before. Hope this helps someone else. Good luck!!!!

After 20 years, I am very happy to report that my granuloma annulare has disappeared! I had it on my hands, stomach, and ankles. Not sure exactly why it is gone, but this is what I was doing during the time it disappeared:

Diet: mostly low carbohydrates, drastically reduced any sugar and flour. I eat about a third of my foods organic.
Supplements: taking tumeric,  and vitamins B & D as well as a daily overall vitamin.

Other benefits besides the amazing removal of the granuloma annulare are that I took off about 15 pounds and I am now a healthy weight. Also my Hgba1c levels are normal (before I was diabetic).

I had GA for 5 years. I tried everything, read all the forums. I finally found a dr who told me she suspected it was wheat. I had no reason to think wheat, it didn't give me stomach issues. She said maybe the pesticides on the wheat. Anyway, I reluctantly cut wheat and within 6 weeks I saw remarkable improvement. I am now GA free. In retrospect I realize the GA started when I switched to whole grain bread. The good news I can still eat white bread and pizza with no issue. Though  try to be careful even with that. I don't know if this is the answer for everyone, but it was the answer for me. I hope this helps someone.
