I can relate...I too have a stinker of a cold at the mo.

I have been having hot lemon and honey drinks.  Very soothing and I think the vit C is good for the cold and the honey soothes the raw throat.

I use half a lemon topped up with boiling water and a teaspoon of runny honey.

We are sick bunnies and need big huggles.

I know this probably sounds corny but when I was a kid, Chicken Noodle Soup always made me feel better.

Hope you feel better soon. Hug

My anti-cold top tip would have to be whiskey !
If I feel a cold comming on sometimes I am lucky enough to catch it early and pickle the germ with copious amounts of single malt. It doesn't always work, but hey, at least it was fun trying Laughing Out Loud

Cheesy Pass me the tissues please, achhhooooo achoooooooo

My nose is bright red and dripping like a tap  Roll Eyes I know what you mean Lisa about catching flies, thats the worst isnt it, not being able to breathe through your nose and slapping and gasping for breathe whilst trying to eat  Roll Eyes

Luckily I have about a gallon of Vicks here that I use for my HS. Paracetamol for the headiness, but Mikey is right, just got to sit it out and hope it doesnt go onto the chest, hmmm perhaps I should cut the fags down ? ...hmmm nah  Shakes head  Laughing Out Loud

Glad you two, Gobe & Fluffy feeling better now you have passed your virtual germs on !  Laughing Out Loud
