He is still trying to sort it all out The screen is really big you have to scroll all the way down to get to the bottom where you type.

Hey Bri What version of windows are you running on ? And are you using Internet Explorer or Netscape ? Hey Nick, I am running Windows ME and am using Internet Explorer version 5.5 But I also sometimes use the internal browser of AOL if that makes a difference. BTW, I don't think it is a big deal

AOL ! Ohhhh ! A law unto themselves and the bain of main websites :-/ AOL can cause problems due to conflicts between the website and the browser. For example, the chat room window is configured to accept all browsers. If the browser agrees, the chat room opens up at just the right size, in just the right place. However, if the browser says "No thanks, I'll do it my way" then the window may open anywhere and in any confuration. And there is the problem in a nutshell, the chat is designed to open up so everything is there, but your browser may well be ignoring the layout instructions and going off on its own. Another contributing factor may be Javascripts. The Java settings in IE Tools/Security may not be set to allow the chat room to open properly. There are so many things to take into account. If it does become a problem, let me know and we'll see what we can do to resolve it

Hi Bri, Well, one of the main reasons for changing our chat room was to be able to accomodate our AOL based members. So far it seems to be holding up quite well. If any members experience anything unusual (apart from Ian's usual WILD parties ), please let me know and we'll do our best to sort it

So far it seems to be holding up quite well. Yes, unfortunatly some of us seem to be stuck using AOL but the new chat room seems to be working out great, as always I will let you know if I experience any difficulties though
