Hi New Members and Guests, Hi there

This part of the forum has been set up especially for our new friends and members.
Feel free to use this board to let us know about yourselves - perhaps who you are, where you are from, what you suffer from or what you are like ?

It can be a little daunting, maybe frightening the first time you post a message, but rest assured we have all been in the same situation ... yes even me Laughing Out Loud and we never mock anyone who is unsure about using the forum.

Even if your first steps in SkinCell is to say "Hi" we would love to hear from you. As we have all experienced the same concerns you will be sure to receive nothing but support and friendship from all of the fellow members.

Our Global Moderators, Gary, Bri, Bamawing, Totalfolly, Andyb, Wooley, ItchyChick and Matt C are all here to help where we can. If you have any questions, no matter how silly you think they might be, click on any of our names and you can send any one of us a private message on any subject. We will be glad to help in any way we can.

If you have specific stories about your skin problems then please feel free to post them in Skin Conditions Board. We'd love to hear all about them.

To post a message just follow these steps:

When you are in the board (Let Me Intoduce Myself) and want to start a new thread, click on

A new window will open.

In the Subject: box type in the title of the message (eg "Hello I'm new").
If you know the name of your condition then please add that in brackets at the end of the subject line this will help other sufferers home in on your condition, so your subject line will then look like
Hello I'm new (Eczema)

If you wish, change the Message Icon: by using the drop-down selector.

In the Message: box, insert your comments as you like.

If you want to automatically e-mailed when someone else responds to your new thread click the Notify of Replies: box.

If you want to enter pure text and not show any special effects, smilies or link coding, click on the Disable Smilies: box.

Once finished, click on Post to save and insert the new thread, or click on Preview to see how the message looks before posting it.

We all look forward to getting to know you better and welcome you to the SkinCell family.
