Interesting.
I have to say that these scam sites with scam products know exactly how to manipulate and hoodwink an unsuspecting public. They are aware of just how to word advertising material and work on the theory that as the bulk of the general public has very limited knowledge of what is involved, and what the legal requirements are to have a legitimate product approved for a specific use by the various government agencies.
They even stoop to the notion that by indicating that a certain products contains 100% herbal ingredients to have you believe that one might assume that it would be classed as a herbal remedy and be exempt from any regulations etc .. Wrong .. They do not then give you the follow up facts which they actually know only to well..
Once you make a claim or qualify a statement on a product or about a product etc such as this product "will relieve itch " or "will cure or relieve a certain condition" it then automatically comes under the juristriction of the government approval agencies as a medicine or drug or a medical device. It is taken out of the catagory of a food additive or suppliment, cosmetic or herbal remedy .
It could be a bottle of water for all intent and purpose but if you said on the lable this water will kill the hylo pylori bacteria it is then classed as a medicine .. The manufacture would then be compelled by law to comply totally with the governance of the medicines act in relation to that products stated claim ..
Some 12 years ago I exposed through the Australian News Media this product called Linotar for the utter scam that it was .. I almost was forced into a mental home trying to convince a gulliable public that I was indeed correct.. I did my homework, produced factual evidence and the paper concerned supported me. We took this crowd on and we won and the authorities banned the product .. I was subsequently proved to be totally correct as this bod moved from country to country with this scam product and was also banned where ever he went once the authorities were alerted ..
Sadly he has no scruples . He continues to this day, having his products relabled and marketed and each time he gets found out he gets banned and just surfaces again ,. I thik he is calling this stuf exoderm currently which has also come to the notice of authorities and has actually been banned in most countries..
Good work Paul .. I dont mind taking these sods on . It is only apathy and the fact that these sods continue to find ways of having their products exposed to the public that encourages these scam merchants to continue ripping off the unsuspecting public .. I am fortnate that through my job and contacts, and my knowledge of the industry through investigation etc that I am able to take these guys to task and I will continue to give them aggro at every turn and take them on through the legal means available to me ..
Do your homework, establish the true facts about a product and be wise..
