And that, ladies and gentlemen, explains the enormity of the universe in a nutshell.

So, who's going to hypothesise about the sub-atomic structure of the quark and it's quantum interactivity with the macro universe within spacetime ?
It's all relative you know Laughing Out Loud

Could it be that you enter a quark shell only to find yourself back at the 1st frame again looking back in on the same universe you just travelled through ?

Hmmm, now there's a thought Nod
If each quark contains its own singularity retained within a cohesive quantum shell then anything is possible, (... well, ..... except for a Pot Noodle that really does taste nice Roll Eyes )  you just have to think of spacetime as an infinite number of curled loops leading back to where you started and as spacetime is already curved then that shouldn't be too much of a leap.
Just look at the theoretical physics applied to the idea of warp travel and you will see what I mean Smiley

 Hi there

      Shocked

Mmmm  .  Well it is all down to  Quantum Physics  I think .

I will leave that one to our Lurker to explain ..  Undecided

Nick .. Not bad at all ..

I think you should be nominated as Applied Science writer of the year ..

 Hi there

  Lol  Guz..

These protons and neutrons can be very tricky ..

Lets take flavour Charm for example .. ? Now what be an applied proton mass of the positive or +2 option when trying to decide if Charm was actually a colour as well?

Goodness we would then have Applied mass .. of charm ..

Please Guz .. people will become Soooo . Confused .. Lips Sealed

Undecided Why do I get all the quantum physics questions?  Lips Sealed

The easiest way to explain warp theory is with a piece of paper.  Imagine that you want to go from one edge to the other.  Normally, you have to go across the length of the paper.  A warp engine supposedly allows you to bend that piece of paper (represents space-time continuum) so that the ends are closer together.   The magnitude of the bend is determined by the Warp Factor.   So when they say Warp 9 it means Warp Factor 9, which is maximum safe warp factor for galaxy class starships (they can exceed warp 9 but cannot achieve warp 10).  The space between the now closer edges of paper is hyperspace, and that is where you travel while using a Warp engine.

That one works well Thumbs up

Another explaination I like is this:

Imagine you are sitting in the centre of a plate. You want to travel to the centre of the underisde of the plate. You have to travel all the way to the edge, over the rim and then all the way back to the centre on the underside.
But if the rim is elastic and before you set off on your journey you pull the elastic rim towards you (using warp) to the point where it nearly meets the centre of the plate, you only have to travel the distance on the thickness of a plate, not double its diameter. Once on the other side of the plate you then disengage the warp and the plate returns to its normal shape but you are now on the underside and have only physically travelled the thickness of the plate.

That would certainly save in petrol Laughing Out Loud
