I like the idea of a two night break, as that does give us more time to get to know people Grin  Also it means we don't have to do two long journey's on two consecutive days  Wink

i think it depends where we go, if us with children are bringing them (and who will look after them when we are out). But even if 2 nights are arranged it doesn't preclude those who only want to come for one night  Grin

Good idea! I'd probably prefer to do just one night but might be tempted to do two...depends really. I have my son 1 or 2 nights at the weekend and have to work around that. I wouldn't bring him with me because, as someone mentioned, it would be hard to 'let loose'!

The idea of staying somewhere by the coast is good - I'd be very happy with that...wherever it is!! Smiley

I have to agree that the suggestion from Julie would be the most flexible for everybody, one night, two nights or even visiting for a couple of hours - all would be welcome Smiley

I'd love to go to a seaside resort and should be free any time except Easter when I'm taking the kids to Woolacombe.  Could probably give a lift to anyone from the Bristol area.  Not sure whether I'd be coming with the children or not.

Blackpool ?

Well the furthest to travel would be our Vix, Ian, Paul, Rea, Gin, Peter, Roni and myself
Bristol to Pontins Blackpool would be 211 miles or 3 hours 41 minutes Huh

I don't really care where we have the meet (as long as it's not too expensive)
Just that we do have a meet-up  Grin

Well time to move on to phase 2.

We have a good idea where people are and how far they would like to travel and what mode of transport they will probably be using.

I'll go through a source a number of options to throw open for specific locations and the sort of deals we may be able to get.

I'm going to lock this thread now and start a new thread called SkinCell Gathering Phase 2  Wink
