Midori Harada is not just a fantastic artist but a great lady also.  I met her and she signed some photo quality prints I made of her work, did some great sketches in one of her art books that I bought...shes great Smiley

I will never forget the reaction I got when I first met her in Glasgow.  I had complimented her work on her site, and she replied a little while later that she would be coming from Japan for this Glasgow expedition.  I told her that I was working that day but would hope to see her.  I had the day off work to travel the 250miles+.

She knew me mainly by my net nickname at that time: Dragonhalf.  When I went inside and asked which lady Harada-san was (there were other Japanese exhibitors there) she jumped up from her seat and dashed over saying "You Dragonhalf?  So happy to see you!".  I could see that it made her day and it certainly made mine Smiley
