Alison,

If your daughters eczema is not weeping at all I would rub in some Lite Virgin Oilve Oil.

Thats if you have some in the cupboard.

Its not to greasy and absorbs quite quickly. It also wont  leave an oily film on the skin.

Hope that may be of help. Thats what I always use .

Fish.

Smiley Hi, I have been having luck with 2 different products, can't say for sure which one is better, I bought them both at the pharmacy.  What I use first is Complex 15, there is a face lotion and body lotion, then I use Cetaphil lotion or creme, the creme I use at night, I also use their soap and cleanser.  I do take a fish oil capsule also, but I have to say, the red spots I had are now pink and seem to be waning.  Hope this helps! Smiley

have you tried aloe vera gel, alison. test it on a tiny patch of her skin first. It's nice and cooling and absorbs very well

Alison.

If you tried the oils and  it went reddish this is usually a sign of slight infection around the affected areas.

Did It go red around the edges of the exzema  or over the full area ?

You may need some antibiotic cream ..to get rid of any slight infection.

Aloe is good .. As Julie says its very soothing .  You need to make sure you get the 100% pure aloe gel though not one of those aloe products that have the aloe added to a horrible base mix.
I always make sure I look at the percentage mix in the ingredients list on the label .

Hope that helps ..
