Ok - as Im the only one posting here, thisll be my last unless someone wants to join in Napoleon XIV - Theyre Coming To Take Me Away Remember when you ran away and I got on my knees and begged you not to leave because Id go berserk?.....Well... You left me anyhow and then the days got worse and worse and now you see Ive gone completely out of my mind.....and... Theyre coming to take me away, ha ha! Theyre coming to take me away ho ho, he he, ha ha To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time and Ill be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and theyre coming to take me away, ha ha! You thought it was a joke and so you laughed, you laughed, when I had said that losing you would make me flip my lid.....right? I know you laughed, I heard you laugh! You laughed and laughed and laughed and then you left and now you know Im utterly mad...and... Theyre coming to take me away, ha ha! Theyre coming to take me away ho ho, he he, ha ha To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and theyre coming to take me away, ha ha! I cooked your food, I cleaned your house and this is how you pay me back for all my kind, unselfish, loving deeds.....huh?... Well, you just wait! Theyll find you yet! And when they do theyll put you in the ASPCA, you mangy mutt!.....and... Theyre coming to take me away, ha ha! Theyre coming to take me away ho ho, he he, ha ha To the funny farm where life is beautiful all the time and Ill be happy to see those nice young men in their clean white coats and theyre coming to take me away, ha ha! To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds and basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes and theyre coming to take me away, ha ha! (Does my knowing these lyrics by heart prove something?)

What do you see in the dark When the demons come for you If only you could have seen How ****** ( Ed Bot! ) up my life used to be Then everything starts to change Supposedly healing my pain I never thought I'd feel this way I never thought that I'd see a day I'd run away from anything or anywhere or anyone Its all these demons haunting me Its all these little things trapped inside of me Releasing me from all my sin Its taken me all my anger And taken me all of my hate To learn how my life came together Releasing the demons again And now I look through my minds eye And see where my past needs to rest Its always disturbed by these voices That echo inside of my head Another way that I can hide Another reason to crawl inside and get away From everything and everywhere and everyone No! Its all these demons haunting me Its all these little things trapped inside of me Releasing me from all my sin Its taken me all my anger And taken me all of my hate To learn how my life came together Releasing the demons......again Facin the days as I grow into my own Loving and hatings the same And three-fold I told you It comes back with laughter Over and over again Its coming back Its taken me all my anger And taken me all of my hate To learn how my life came together Releasing the demons again --------------------------------- Cheerful soul aint I ? Im gonna try and download that one Boa - Duvet (Serial Experiments Lain theme) And you don't seem to understand A shame you seemed an honest man And all the fears you hold so dear Will turn to whisper in your ear And you know what they say might hurt you And you know that it means so much And you don't even feel a thing I am falling, I am fading, I have lost it all And you don't seem the lying kind A shame that I can read your mind And all the things that I read there Candle-lit smile that we both share And you know I don't mean to hurt you But you know that it means so much And you don't even feel a thing I am falling, I am fading, I am drowning, Help me to breathe I am hurting, I have lost it all I am losing Help me to breathe (Yes its a girls song but I just love it Even if youre not an anime fan, I urge you to download this - its gorgeous)

Guzz, There all in my files at 'the other place' Let me know & I'll connect up, pretty easy to get tho, its off the latest Godsmack album. If I catch you on there I might just have to leech that last one from you ok, put your mindset to having a few tooo many beers Tom Waits The Piano has been Drinking (Not Me) The piano has been drinking, my necktie is asleep And the combo went back to New York, the jukebox has to take a leak And the carpet needs a haircut, and the spotlight looks like a prison break And the telephone's out of cigarettes, and the balcony is on the make And the piano has been drinking, the piano has been drinking... And the menus are all freezing, and the light man's blind in one eye And he can't see out of the other And the piano-tuner's got a hearing aid, and he showed up with his mother And the piano has been drinking, the piano has been drinking As the bouncer is a Sumo wrestler cream-puff casper milktoast And the owner is a mental midget with the I.Q. of a fence post 'Cause the piano has been drinking, the piano has been drinking... And you can't find your waitress with a Geiger counter And she hates you and your friends and you just can't get served without her And the box-office is drooling, and the bar stools are on fire And the newspapers were fooling, and the ash-trays have retired 'Cause the piano has been drinking, the piano has been drinking The piano has been drinking, not me, not me, not me, not me, not me

Hope you like it Guzz Ok, another love song...from NIN...were in this together I've become impossible holding on to when when everything seemed to matter more the two of us all used and beaten up watching fate as it flow down the path we have chose you and me we're in this together now none of them can stop us now we will make it through somehow you and me if the world should break in two until the very end of me until the very end of you awake to the sound as they peel apart the skin they pick and they pull trying to get their fingers in well they've got to kill what we've found well they've got to hate what we fear well they've got to make it go away well they've got to make it disappear the farther I fall I'm beside you as lost as I get I will find you the deeper the wound I'm inside you for ever and ever I'm a part of you and me we're in this together now none of them can stop us now we will make it through somehow you and me if the world should break in two until the very end of me until the very end of you all that we were is gone we have to hold on all that we were is gone we have to hold on when all our hope is gone we have to hold on all that we were is gone but we can hold on you and me we're in this together now none of them can stop us now we will make it through somehow you and me even after everything you're the queen and I'm the king nothing else means anything

Andy shows his mushy side.... Send me the pillow. The one that you dream on. Send me the pillow. The one that you dream on. And i`ll send you mine.

My kind of a love song is marian above or this:
Walk Away - The Sisters Of Mercy
And in the summer when the clouds show through, I might go the same way too if you and I could talk together... Well what am I supposed to do with You and I could walk together then, with 'always' close around and now you gaze towards the doorway When the weather comes falling down
And when the rain comes down Would your choose to walk or stay? Would you choose to walk, would you choose to stay? Would you walk, walk, walk, walk away?
And when the rain comes down Would your choose to walk or stay? Would you choose to walk, would you choose to stay? Would you walk, walk, walk, walk away?
And when the day is nearly through I might see the same way too if you would name the things that bring you down on me so I can say its Not quite true if you dont really know or understand the circumstance Behind then I might clear your mind And you wont have to go so...
So when the rain comes down Would your choose to walk or stay? Would you choose to walk, would you choose to stay? Would you walk, walk, walk, walk away?

Releasing the demons sounds like good-era Pantera I love the whole album Guzz, cant stop playing it. I agree its sound is quite nostalgic of the eighties. Another you might like then, is Nevermore - dead heart in a dead world, some nice riffs Very eighties in my opinion. Andy, I notice lately that you are listening to quite a few that I love ! I Got a real soft spot for the smiths My fave track being 'last night I dreamt that somebody loved me'

ok then, heres a real modern classic :
Cant stand losing you ~ Police
I've called you so many times today And I guess it's all true what your girl-friends say That you don't ever want to see me again And your brother's gonna kill me and he's six feet ten I guess you'd call it cowardice But I'm not prepared to go on like this
I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing you I can't stand losing you I can't stand losing you I can't stand losing you
I see you sent my letters back And my L.P. records and they're all scratched I can't see the point in another day When nobody listens to a word I say You can call it lack of confidence But to carry on living doesn't make no sense
I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't stand losing you I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing
I guess this is our last goodbye And you don't care, so I won't cry But you'll be sorry when I'm dead And all this guilt will be on your head I guess you'd call it suicide But I'm too full to swallow my pride I can't, I can't, I can't stand losing I can't, I can't...

Ive heard that song a hundred times - never understood the lyrics Thanks for that! Im big on Celldweller right now (Anyone in the US who can get me their album, gimme a shout!). Am I In Sync? (Celldweller is the best version, lyrics by Steve Taylor) Am I In Sync? (x4) Synthesizer rock ruled Jessicas feet As a slave to that ubiquitous beat Visions of the big screen danced in her head "In a matter of time", she said Well, Jessie never got that hollywood role And the pogo nights have taken their toll She can do a monkey off-a the cuff But her mind has a missing...link <Am I in sync?> Paint a picture on a subway train Carve my name in a video game <Am I in sync?> Out looking for the camera crews Sell my soul for a second on the evening news <Am I in Sync?> Live till the bubble pops Hold my breat when the big one drops <Am I in sync?> Immortality is what Im buying But Id rather be immortal by not dying Labratory mice made Roger a fink And the laws of science drove him to drink Searching for the taste of pucblic acclaim And a cure that bore his name Nobel prizes would have been nice But he lost his mind to renegade mice Roger traded dreams of 'Man Of The Year' For an understanding...shrink <Am I in sync?> Paint a picture on a subway train Carve my name in a video game <Am I in sync?> Out looking for the camera crews Sell my soul for a second on the evening news <Am I in Sync?> Live till the bubble pops Hold my breat when the big one drops <Am I in sync?> Immortality is what Im buying But Id rather be immortal by not dying

Still good after all these years.
Stairway to Heaven
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven And when she gets there she knows if the stores are closed With a word she can get what she came for
Woe oh oh oh oh oh And she's buying a stairway to heaven
There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure And you know sometimes words have two meanings In the tree by the brook there's a songbird who sings Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven
Woe oh oh oh oh oh And she's buying a stairway to heaven
There's a feeling I get when I look to the west And my spirit is crying for leaving In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees And the voices of those who stand looking
Woe oh oh oh oh oh And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And it's whispered that soon, if we all call the tune Then the piper will lead us to reason And a new day will dawn for those who stand long And the forest will echo with laughter
And it makes me wonder
If there's a bustle in your hedgerow Don't be alarmed now It's just a spring clean for the May Queen
Yes there are two paths you can go by but in the long run There's still time to change the road you're on
Your head is humming and it won't go because you don't know The piper's calling you to join him Dear lady can't you hear the wind blow and did you know Your stairway lies on the whispering wind
And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our souls There walks a lady we all know Who shines white light and wants to show How everything still turns to gold And if you listen very hard The tune will come to you at last When all are one and one is all To be a rock and not to roll Woe oh oh oh oh oh And she's buying a stairway to heaven
There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold And she's buying a stairway to heaven And when she gets there she knows if the stores are closed With a word she can get what she came for
And she's buying a stairway to heaven, uh uh uh.

I`m going to veer off a wee bit and tell you guys of an album that i simply love,a friend from NZ told me of an Aussie band called"The Sleepy Jackson" and a few weeks back i bought their album"lovers",hard to describe the music, maybe country Aussie(!?!!),but soooo good, a few lyrics from their song "Rain falls for wind"(best song i`ve heard this year by far)....
I`ve been drinking and i`ve been thinking of you. Now i know,i know the snow will let me know. And i`ve been trying but i`ve lying to you. Now i know,i know that the time will get me through.
GUZZI-Cheers for the offer, the Sisters are a band that i`ve not really heard much of,is it their singer whose touring with The Doors?
PETER-What can i say,a classic, like the live version on their album"How the west was won"
CELERY-I think my fav Smiths song would be "There is a light that never goes out"i remember seeing the great man when i was coming out of Tottenham Court underground station,he was on the opposite escalator,my mate said"your not going to talk to him!",think i`m the only person in Scotland who likes their music.

If i can throw another one into the hat....it`s called "Amsterdam"by Colplay, makes me always think of the battles i`ve had with my skin, how through all the bad times i`ve found hope for the future...
Come on,oh my star is fading. And i swerve out of control. If i,if i`d only waited. I`d not be stuck here in this hole.
Come here,oh my star is fading. And i swerve out of control. And i swear i waited and waited. I`ve got to get out of this hole.
But time is on your side. It`s on your side now. I`m pushing you down and all around. It`s no cause for concern.
Come on,oh my star is fading. And i see no chance of release. I know i`m dead on the surface. But i`m screaming underneath.
But time is on your side. It`s on your side now. I`m pushing you down and all around. It`s no cause for concern.
Stuck on the edge, this ball and chain. I`m on my way back down. Stood on the edge, tied to the noose. Sick to the stomach. Say what you mean but it wont change a sin. I`m sick of the secret`s. Stood on the edge, tied to the noose. You came along and cut me loose.

Sisters' lead singer is Andrew Eldritch - but there are 2 of his albums under other band names - Gift as The Sisterhood and one that I believe is only out on bootleg called Go Figure under the band name SSV-NSMABAAOTWMODAACOTIATW or "Screw Shareholder Value - Not So Much A Band As Another Opportunity To Waste Money On Drugs And Ammunition Courtesy Of The Idiots At Time-Warner". If anyone sees a copy, I want it!

Best lyrics by far of any artist are Zappa's. I know Celery likes him to.
Flakes Flakes! Flakes! Flakes! Flakes! They dont do no good They never be workin' When they oughta should They waste your time They are wastin' mine Californias got the most of them Boy, they got a host of them
Swear to God they got the most At every business on the coast Swear to God they got the most At every business on the coast They got the flakes
Flakes! Flakes!
They cant fix yer brakes You ask em, "Wheres my motor?" "Well it was eaten by snakes ..." You can stab n shoot n spit But they won't be fixin it
They are lyin an lazy They can be drivin' you crazy
Swear to God they got the most At every business on the coast Swear to God they got the most At every business on the coast [Take it away, Bob ...]
I asked as nice as I could If my job would Somehow be finished by Friday Well, the whole damn weekend Came n went, Frankie [Wanna buy some mandies, Bob?] N they didn't do nothin' But they charged me double for Sunday
You know, no matter what you do They gonna cheat n rob you Then they will send you a bill That will get your sense reelin And if you do not pay They got computer collectors That will get you so crazy Til your head'll go through the ceilin Yes, it will
Im a moron n this is my wife Shes frosting a cake with a paper knife All what we got heres American made It's a little bit cheesey, But it's nicely displayed Well we dont get excited when it Crumbles n breaks We just get on the phone And call up some Flakes They rush on over N wreck it some more N we are so dumb Theyre linin up at our door Well, the toilet went crazy Yesterday afternoon The plumber he says "Never flush a tampoon!" This great information Cost me half a week's pay And the toilet blew up Later on the next day ay-eee-ay Blew up the next day WOO-OOO
Were millions n millions Were coming to get you Were protected by unions So don't let it upset you Cant escape the conclusion It's probably God's Will That civilization Will grind to a standstill And we are the people Who will make it all happen While yer children is sleepin Yer puppy is crappin You might call us Flakes or something else you might coin us But we know youre so greedy That you will probably join us Were comin to get you, were comin to get you Were comin to get you, were comin to get you Were comin to get you, were comin to get you Were comin to get you, were comin to get you
