I have been experience outbreaks of boils which leave terrible scarring - keloids even, on my inner thighs for over four years. They can be very painful for a day or two and then the pain would dissipate however it has been very embarrassing and it wasn't until I talked to a friend who has been experiencing the same things that I became aware of HS.

I have been treated with antibiotics in the past that only resulted in yeast infections, no relief at all from the boils. Hot compresses used to work but nothing seems to stop them from reoccurring. I would love to hear about some of your more successful treatments as I do understand that my primary care physician "practices medicine" and me, my insurance, and my body are the target zone...LOL  Angry

Hi there! Hi there
Welcome to Skincell!!

There's a few members on here who suffer from HS, and they'll no doubt have something to share.

In the mean time, have a look around the rest of the forum, there's lots to see Smiley

Oh, yes, that sounds like classic HS. You are NOT alone - we have many, many members with the same problem. Hugs

Here's a whole board that might help: http://www.skincell.org/community/index.php/board,32.0.html
