Not too many DSAP'ers on this board but hey-this is an AWFUL disfiguring, life changing skin disorder. LET'S COMPARE NOTES! Yes, I've had some luck with some treatments...

Glad to hear you've had some luck. Hope some similar people come along soon!

Hm.. is it possible that DSAP might have another name? Sometimes names get mixed up across countries.

OH NO- LOL DSAP people know very well what it is. But not too many people have it. I've been corresponding with a gentleman in Australia with it...usually women get it so it's even more rare for a man to have it.  Some new drugs are coming out that might help, and I'm going to try and get my hands on some. So what do you have?

I didn't know either what it is so I looked it up.  I stands for Disseminated superficial actinic porokeratosis.

Be glad that you had to look it up-if you knew about it means you had it. I'll be going for another round of freezing which since they have to go so deep, takes over a month for the scabs to drop, then another two months for the red "holes" to disappear. The doc does 30 at a time. The laser did nothing, but we knew it wasn't the right one. Going to talk to my doc about the new drugs out for the "P" part of DSAP ....can't spell these weird words! Good luck with your "E"
