Hi,
For years suffering from troublesome itch, tingling sensation in groin area, mainly on right side and also on left side. Was diagnosed by various skin experts and given various treatments with cortizones, elidel & similar, Zinc Oxide base creams, calendula extract & similar base creams, anti-allergic fenistil & similar, antiallergic pills like arius & similar, antifunals, antibiotics, vaseline based creams, benzocaine / lidocane based creams, and similar.
None helped except in achieving clearing of some local rash that was noticed at some of the groin area at the time, which mainly resembled XERORIS CRURIS which resembles a state of dry skin.
Lately after all this misfortune, a doctor suggested it might be resulting of neuropathic origin, i.e. neuro induced resulting from mechanical rubbing & mechanical pressure of skin against skin or nerve ends, but the only possible solution he suggested was some injection of lidocaine to block the nerve itch signal. This sounds too extreme to my family doctor, also since it is not only on right side but also on left side, it may be of no good, also who knows what risk it might cause.
Questions to u people :
(1) does anyone know of any practical solution to silence the problem. cosmetics in this area of the body is not the issue - the itch / tingling / sensitivity is the issue

(2) does anyone know of any possibility of this being an internal problem, i.e. something in the testicular system, maybe some sensitivity to simple pressure in the right testicle and left testicle or similar, that might radiate this sensation to the outer scrotum ? If so, how to diagnoese ? It sometimes feels as if the right testicle is wrapped in something and thus feels sensitive and fires itches / ting / ... to it's vicinity...
