Hello all, my name is Sherry and I am waiting on biopsy reports to come in on Nov. 18. My story started about a year ago with a diognosis of rhumatiod arthritis. After many attempts at treatment I was put on Humira in April of '09. All summer I felt better than I had in years!! Until the last week of July when I developed pustules and a rash on my hands and feet and then patches on my legs, butt, and arms..many doctor visits later, ( I ended up with a derm. in a town 2 hours away) I found a doctor that actually wanted to biopsy the rash and it came back as "strongly suggestive of Mycosis Fungoides." For those of you that don't what this is, its Lymphoma of the skin (skin cancer that is not localized to one area but wide spread.) My Derm thinks it is pustule psoriasis that was triggered by the Humira. Go figure, a drug that is normally used to treat psoriasis can trigger it if you have a pre-disposition to that disorder!! So after giving the Humira time to leave my body and to wean off the prednisone I went back in for two more biopsies and here I sit waiting on the results....After a lot of research on both and looking at some of the pictures here I feel that pustule psoriasis will be the diognosis...at least I hope and pray it is..I have a feeling if thats the case ya'll will see me here often asking for treatment advice. My Derm hopes she can get with my rhumatiodologist and find one treatment that will treat both which would be so nice! Thanks to each of you that post here on PPP because its a relief to know if this is my future I will have someone to chat with because no one in my family nor anyone I know has this condition. Keep up the great work.

Good heavens, you've been through some kind of obstacle course with all the hoops you've had to jump through!

My only reccomendation would be to print out some of the pictures that you think match your condition and bring them in to your derm. That's what I had to do with my general prac... but it helped.

Best of luck, and welcome!!
