I'm Tarah and I found this site because I have no health insurance and something appeared on my thigh a few months ago and won't go away.  It looks like Schamberg's Disease but I'm not for sure (obviously - I'm not a doctor  Tongue)

Anyway, the patch is light brown but the color can vary from light brown to a brownish red.  The size is about 2 quarters.  It doesn't itch or irritate me and the size has not changed at all.  It appears bumpy but to the touch it is not.

I am also victim to varicose veins as they are hereditary (poop).  I am 23 years old and of average weight and height.

I have 2 college degrees and I am a gymnastics instructor.

Nice to meet you all and hopefully I can learn what the heck is on my leg!!!

Hi Tarah!
Welcome to Skincell Hi there

Unfortunately, no-one on here is qualified to diagnose your condition. The best person for that is a dermatologist. Smiley

That said, there are a few folks on here with Schambergs, and you may be able to compare pictures (I can't remember whether there are any in our gallery or not)

Hope you find an answer,

Matt

Hi Tarah and welcome to SC (what a lovely name you have).

I'm afraid I can't be of any help other to hope other members or the gallery can provide you with some further insight.

I'm sure there are photos of all sorts of skin problems on the web. That might be a resource for you.

I hope you can resolve this.
