Hi. I am new to this site- stumbled across it as I was looking up some treatment for burns on Vitiligo spots. I have had it my whole life, only now, at age 32, it is rapidly progressing. I am interested to hear if anybody out there knows of anything that actually works to cover up some spots?

My two children, age 6 and 3, are developing a white spot on their cheek- my 6 year old has the condition and I'm pretty sure my 3 year old does, although he has not been formally checked yet. I'm trying to find some good coverup so that when they are older I can direct them to something.

Thanks
KL

Hi KL!
Welcome to Skincell Hi there

Hi there to the little ones too! Smiley

I don't have vitiligo, but there are a few people on here that do. Maybe they have some advice.

I think there's a vitiligo thread on the "Skin conditions and Disorders" board. Worth checking out! Smiley

Kindest Regards,

Uncle Matt.

Hi KL,

I'm new to SkinCell too

Am 34 and had vitiligo since I was 14.  Understand the need of wanting to cover them up.  I started off by visiting a beautician/make-up artist and she matched the colour to my skin tone and gave me a cover-up with sunblock factored in, though was not available over the counter back then.  After a while, when it started spreading I gave up covering it all up  Cheesy
