Does anybody here suffer from a skin disorder called PMLE (polymorphous light eruption)? I am extremely sensitive to the sun; cant even stand 5 minutes of it without my sunscreen and a hat; so was wondering if there's anybody in this forum who suffer from the same problems as I do.
Just wanted to gain some insight.
Cheers!

Hiya, scarysun, and welcome to SkinCell!

Yes, we do have a few members who suffer from your disorder.  Hopefully they'll be along soon to offer some input for you.  In the mean time, if you haven't done a search of the forum, you could try that.

Hi Scarysun,

didn't see your message until today. Welcome to SkinCell!  Grin

Anyway, I suffer from PMLE as well and know what it feels like to always have to avoid the sun. I have nothing new to add about the disorder at the moment, but if you search the forum you will find some helpful advise that we have posted previously. Actually, some people with PMLE can actually respond very well to the available treatments. Unfortunately I am not one of those lucky people, but if you haven't tried anything yet, you really should see your dermatologist and discuss some the possibilities.

Cheers,
Richie
