Does anyone here do skin brushing? I've read that it can be very beneficial for your health. If you do, has it helped you? Do you do it every day?

I've heard it can have a calming effect on people with certain types of Autism. Other than that, I haven't heard of anything, unfortunately.

On the other hand, any kind of massage like that would probably promote circulation, which is likely to be a good thing.

Not neccesarily brushing per se but I do have an exfoliating tool that runs on batteries, a scar massager that runs on batteries, and various exfoliating tools and pumice stones that are very helpful. You would think it would run along the same lines of concept?

Hi there, yes I did skin brushing for a about a year when my eczema was exfoliative.  It would come off in buckets of flakes, so I skinb brushed before soaking in the bath.

I got my brush from the BodyShop and rinsed off the brush after every brushing..

I don't do it anymore as my skin is no longer exfoliative,  Kiss.  I eat a lot of protein now to rebuild it. It's still exfoliative on my face, so I wet my face and apply shea butter to my entire face to moisturise all the tight dry bits which is basically my whole face.  It always looks better and feels better after that.  In fact, that's what I've just done!!

Hope this helps!
