Hello!!! My name is Rosanna, I am so happy to have found a place where I can talk to other people who understand what I am going through and can relate. I have suffered with HS for 4 and a half years now and have had multiple surgeries including 2 skin grafts! I keep reading alot of posts from people saying that they refuse to have surgery and to each their own. Everone should be allowed to decide for their self, however, surgery was the GREATEST thing that ever happened to me since my outbreaks! I had stage 3 HS in both my armpits and had skin grafts about 2 and a half years ago and have not had to worry about it in those areas since. Unfortunately I am having outbreaks in other areas now and hope to have surgery again in those areas as well but i no longer have health insurance. Hopefully I will be able to get some advice from this site that will help me in the mean time and maybe I can also help other people cope as well.

Welcome to the forum, Rosie. I'm sorry to hear about you having HS, but you are not alone. There are people here that have it, I am one of them. I'm not on as much as I sometimes am, currently. Though, if you'd like to talk and I'm not on here, feel free to add me to MSN, my details are in my profile. Take care. Smiley
