Well, I don't watch many movies and I'm not sure I can pick even five, but I'll give it a try.

ET
Forrest Gump
Apollo 13
The Wizard of Oz
Star Trek IV (I think--the one with the whales)

Hey, that's five!

I'm not a movie watcher either, but my all time favourite would be The Thornbirds.

My taste in movies is uber strange. I would have to say

Robin Hood - the Disney version with all the animals
Pirates of the Caribbean - but only the first one
The Matrix - but only the first one
Goldeneye - my fave Bond flick
Scream of the Mummy - it's sooooo bad it's good
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
any Bugs Bunny special featuring films directed by Chuck Jones
I've never actually seen it, but I still want Evangellion: Death and Rebirth on my list
The Last Unicorn
Princess Monoke or Spirited Away. Either one, I'm not picky.

I do like a variety of movies, but I do love a good classic, and Arsenic and an old lace is great, I love it!  Wink

A few favorites...

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
- Appeals to my inner geek. Smiley
Goldfish Memory
Rent - Yay, musicals.
The Breakfast Club - Classic.
April's Shower
The Dark Crystal - For sheer Jim Henson value.

Do mini-series count? If so, definitely Angels in America and Tin Man.

Not in any particular order... the first ten off the top of my head are:

Monsters Inc
The Incredibles
Forrest Gump
District 9
Sin City
Starship Troopers
Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story
School of Rock
The Watchmen
Good Will Hunting

...and for a bonus, The Princess Bride.
