Laughter is the best medicine

Skin Condition:
Not so good at the mo

« on: Wednesday October 08, 2008, 03:54:49 PM »

...a visitor asked the Director how to determine whether or not
a patient should be institutionalized?

'Well,' said the Director, 'we fill up a bath; then we offer a teaspoon,
a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the
bath.'

'Oh, I understand,' said the visitor. 'A normal person would use the
bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup.'

'No.' said the Director, 'A normal person would pull the plug.

Now, would you prefer a bed near the window?'

Smiley I would be tempted to say the teaspoon even tho I know its the plug. I could do with the holiday, I always wanted one of those nice jackets that fastens at the back and those padded cells look so comfortable  Wink
