A better Oulook?
« on: Sunday June 22, 2008, 06:45:40 PM »
Waaaaaay back a long time ago, I used Microsoft Outlook Express for my e-mail. I only used it because it was there and I knew no better.

When I moved to University, I purchased a wonderful program called PocoMail, and used that instead. This was aound about the time when everyone else using Outlook (express) suffered when the e-mail worms were about.

Unfortunately, Poco had it's limitations, and I went back to Outlook 2003.

Now I've downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird, which is a) better than Outlook (it's not Microsoft...), and b) it's totally FREE.

I've spent the best part of half an hour fiddling with it, and now I'm happy with the setup. The bit I can't find is the archiving settings, but I'm sure I will figure it out.
