Britain's Got Talent
« on: Sunday May 11, 2008, 07:50:28 PM »
OK, I normally switch off at the first sight of Simon Cowell but...

I was just flicking through the channels in search of something to watch and...

There was a bloke playing a saw (yes, the thing you cut wood with)

Now he was sat down with the saw (blade facing him) lying across his knee, and used what looked like a bow across the straight edge. To vary the pitch, he used a handle on the free end and bent the saw.

The weird thing is it didn't sound bad, and was like nothing I've ever heard before. Now I don't know how much practicing he'd done, but some of the notes were better than others.

Obviouosly Simon Cowell didn't like it, but everyone else did. The bloke got through to the next round, anyway...

Did anyone else see hear this?

Opinions?

He did pretty well!  I remember saw-playing from years and years ago.
