Well, sure enough, I tried to post a single word, and durned if it won't post my bleeping. I did decide to double-check and so I went back to a Q-bert award... and I used to could. Are my days of bleeping over? We have the entire story on the Skincell News at 10. *wiggles eyebrows* P.S. Nick, I'm in that you noticed that. I would never have picked up on it.

There has been an issue with HTML code inside a post. If your posts have HTML code in them, the forum doesn't recognise it, and will put you out on the http://www.skincell.org main page. I don't know whether Nick has managed to resolve it yet. Matt.

I want to see if this will work. I have recently had a problem trying to post a new topic. It is an odd problem. When I try to post, I am sent to the main page, the page that gives all the information and the introduction to this SkinCell site.

Oh, I see it worked, I wonder why I am having a problem with posting a new topic in the Skin Complaints and Skin Disorders forum. Hmmm....any ideas?

Hey there Blue!
This problem has occured in the past, and is caused by using pointy brackets around things, like you would in HTML. on my keyboard, they are "SHIFT ." and "SHIFT ,"
What happens, is that the forum software tries to interpret it as HTML, and fails. See below for more information.
Hope this helps,
Matty.

Hi Blue, If you want, copy the post over to me in a PM or by email and I will go through and find the conflicting HTML, edit it, then return the content so you can post it.

Wow, Nick that is very kind of you. I wanted to post some research on dermatitis that might be of interest to some, and it just didn't want to accept it for a new topic.
Matt - I bet that the bracket thing that you mentioned must be the problem because the research article cited their sources a lot, and there must have been a lot of brackets in the citations.
Okay, if I delete all the brackets and I still can't post it, I will send it to you, Nick, to post, because I think it is an interesting bit of research.
Thank you both. I really appreciate the information and the help.
