andyb, she was paid in credit for the company at a rate of £50 per hour. I considered the cottage but it's really quite large and we just don't have the space for it, so what I am going to do is put cash in her bank account for the amount she made (more useful when she is older etc), and then use the credit for birthday/christmas presents etc.

Well we had a call a couple of weeks ago, asking if Sarah would like to go back for some more modelling. They had previously called a few months back but when had a holiday planned so we couldn't make it... but we went back again on Thursday and spent a whole day in a beautiful garden with Sarah and 2 other children doing some shots for the Spring/Summer catalogue. I had a jumper and coat on, and was freezing - the children were running around in summer dresses and other such outfits... it made me feel cold just watching them! They didn't feel it though... lucky children.

A couple of people at the shoot suggested we join an agency for Sarah, but despite the lure of Sarah potentially being on TV and actually quite good money for her account, I think it would be really difficult with sorting out the other children, school etc. Apparently they want people at short notice quite often so it would be almost impossible. I think we will stick with just this company.

I will add links again, when they are on the website.

Had an email yesterday saying they have given us *** £250 *** of credit for last week's photoshoot!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! They paid us for some of the waiting time - I was really surprised.

Last time I put the cash equivalent in her bank account and used the credit for presents etc, but this time I am going to save the credit as DD would like a "princess bed" so one day we'll be able to get that.

Wow Woo! Well done both of you, actually all of you. What a thrill and as you say the money will come in very handy when Sarah is older. Nod plus she'll have some lovely memories as will you. Big Hug

Sadly the link you put up no longer works so I'm looking forward to seeing the new one when you put it up.

Hi again, yes they stopped selling the play house that the original link was from but here is the other shot that she did in her first shoot:

http://tinyurl.com/yg48j3l

She did 4 shots in the latest shoot (it was meant to be 3 but she got sulky when the lady said she had finished so they let her do another one, lol). I can't wait to see the photos...

Awww - she's absolutely gorgeous Wooley, and a total natural in front of the camera!  Smiley

I usually run away when a camera is pointed in my direction (or adopt a stern look like the one in my profile) LOL

Tell her we all think she's fantastic!! Smiley
