Hiya, Adam, and welcome to SkinCell!
I haven't heard about using Accutane for rosacea, but that doesn't mean it isn't done. While none of us here is a dermatologist and can't really diagnose you from the symptoms you describe, it's possible that you do have

. It's also possible it could be something else.

What I'd suggest is that you take a look at the ingredients in the creams or ointments or cleansers you're using on your face. Stay away from anything with alcohol or fragrances. And trust your skin's reaction--just because I may use a product for my

doesn't mean you will be able to use it with the same success. We each react differently to different products and triggers. Use tepid or even cool water to rinse your face and switch from soap to a soap substitute (I use Cetaphil, but there are several I think) or don't use any cleanser at all.

I can't tolerate the moisturizer from Rosacea Care, for example. Other people don't have this problem. Try a product for a few days and if it causes trouble, stop using it but wait until your skin calms down before trying another. One good thing about the Rosacea Care products is that you can buy a small sample of their items without spending an arm and a leg for a large quantity.
