I love this thread, too, it is hilarious. Guzzi> You pose a real challenge to most of us to live up to, and Bamawing met the challenge and exceeded all expectations. You guys are cracking me up, thank you for the laughs. Bamawing> What a nice group photo, where did you get it? Now, for the request: Could you possibly name the people in the photo? Okay, I think I can name at least two: I see MattC and Nick, possibly Guzzihero in the back, and possibly Bigfoot to the side, maybe, maybe not. Great photo! Pretty please could you give us the Skincell handles of the people in the picture? I, for one would really enjoy knowing. Thanks in advance. I thought of a funny caption for the Rashbash photo, (hopefully it _is_ funny and not offensive): Sprung From their Cell. Skin Cell Rash Bash 2007 Okay, maybe it's stupid, but stupid is funny .

Oh, the photo is Matt's! All kudos to him. I think it's even in his gallery... but he'll have to name the people in it. I can do the adults OK, but I keep getting all the kids mixed up.

Thank you so much, MattC for identifying the good people in the photo, I mean the skin cell poster kids. What a good looking bunch of people. Guzzi> You're GREAT, this is very funny, you have a fabulous sense of humor. The Tony Blair poster still makes me laugh everytime I scroll by it. That was very clever and hilarious. I loved it. You are good at this. I have a question: I made some funny "motivational posters", but I can't get the photos to paste, just the captions. Do I really have to go to that site you posted, register and do it all there? *whines* Or is there a way for me to post the ones I made without using that site? Please help me, oh great one, my hero.

You can save it, I think, and then stick it on here as an attachment.
I have an account at Photoshop, and that's how I get my pictures to appear in a post.

Bamawing> Thanks for trying to help. While I don't have an account at photoshop, that would be great. As for your suggestion to save it as a file and add it as an attachment, I did try that. Maybe I didn't try hard enough. I'll try that a couple more times, and thanks for the encouragement. If I am able to finally add it as an attachment, then it wouldn't show up like yours and Guzzi's do, though, right? You would have to click on it to open it. Try, try again, or go to Guzzihero's recommended site. For me, just copy and pasting what I did would work really well. Post some more! Bama and uzzi, those are hilarious, really good work. Please : More, more, more

I use that site (you dont have to register) and then when it makes the poster, copy it to my hard drive. Then I put it into Photobucket and post BigHugeLabs dont let you 'hotlink' images You really need Photobucket.

How do I get "Photobucket"? Should I google it and see? Was anyone able to see the posters I did on bighugelabs.com from clicking on the links in my post? Was anyone not able to see them? When I click on the links, I can see the posters, can anyone else see them, or not? Did any of the "Motivational" posters you clicked on make you grin, smile, shake your head , groan or laugh? I wonder if they don't even come up for anyone else. Thanks for any replies, I am wondering if they don't appear for anyone but myself.

Thanks, Bama, apparently, I already have an account on photobucket, the system already had my name and email account there. Well, Well, I will keep on trying, to upload these posters, download them and try to post them here, my long and overly trying quest continues. Meanwhile, post some more motivational posters, pretty please.

...and here's how I did that, step by step. 1. Dan sent me the picture after his toothpick incident. I saved the pic to my desktop. 2. I went to the website: http://bighugelabs.com/flickr/motivator.php3. I clicked "upload" and broswed until I found the pic. 4. I created the poster. 5. Instead of "share" which you would think was the best one, I clicked "save." 6. I saved the poster to my desktop. 7. I went to www.photobucket.com8. I signed in and uploaded my poster. 9. I copied the "IMG Code" and pasted it on the skincell post. 10. I posted! Hope that helps!

ooooooh! :cringe: it's very clever Bama but.... it reminds me of a time when we were warned as parents to look out for razor blades stuck in the joints in slides - happily the one in the park behind us is a seamless version but I hate to imagine the damage a razorblade could do to a sliding child the things some folk are capable of doing or even thinking about....

Yikes! I love the caption, Bama, but I too cringed!
Andy! That is horrid! When we lived in Vancouver, I remember going to our local playground and there were notices posted by a parent who had found hypodermic needles (left by heroin junkies) in the sand... where all the kids played barefoot in the summer.

Andy, that's horrable! This is a joke, sure enough, but that's not funny. I don't want to offend... should I take it down? (I don't mind.) Although it reminds me of the "razor blades in apples" scare every Halloween. To date, thank goodness, that's just been a rumor and there's never been any real sicko who has tried to hurt kids that way. My old (work) school is positioned in a rather old and less-than-affluential neighborhood. Every so often that woudl become a problem. The neighborhood kids would help themselves to the basketball court (which wasn't a problem unless they had a day off from school that our kids didn't.... happened once) and once we found a used condom out there! Thank goodness it was a teacher who found it and not a kid. The Head of the Schol called the cops, and after that we got better police patrols.

http://i209.photobucket.com/albums/bb78/PleasantSanctuary/motivator6454782.jpg[/img]] The caption should read: WARNING: PSYCHO PHOTOGRAPHER! For some reason the printing looks fractured. Score! I finally did it, and I owe it all to BAMAWING. Thank you so much, my dear, it took me about an hour, because I kept doing it wrong, so I copied off your instructions, and kept trying it over and over, and finally one of them posted. I have 5 more, but I am going to take a break, that was not easy, but without your important step by step instructions, it would have been impossible. What was once frustrating is now fun! You are a GREAT teacher! Thank you so much!

Oh Bamawing, I really appreciate your help and your comments. Your instructions absolutely helped, but this is still a difficult process for me. Thanks for the feedback, I hope it makes someone laugh a little. With my off-beat sense of humor, I just hope what strikes me as funny will make others feel the same way. My hope is that this last one makes people laugh a little. Ladies> Here is your very own motivational poster for your private parts.

I don't see it yet... ...but I'm looking forward to it. With my PMS, those parts need all the motivation they can get!

Okay, silly me, I had to change it from the former format, because, it just wouldn't work for me. Although I can go to that site and make a "motivational poster", I can not get it to save to my computer and when I get it to save to photobucket or flikr, it just won't post for me like it did before. I am not having luck with the process, anymore, so I did it freehand, yes I did, I just did a poster the old fashioned way, by just putting it up. PLEASE FORGIVE ME! Did that one work?

When we understand that there is no up without a down,no over without an under, no good without a bad, no light without dark, no hot without cold, no yes without a no, we understand wholeness, and we cease to be disturbed, distressed, or perplexed by the illusion of anything less than wholeness.

Yes, I see it, Bluesky. I do wonder why they would paint a sidewalk in that manner? I wish I knew why flikr and photobucket are giving you such problems.

My guess, since the photo was from someone I know at Michigan State University, that it COULD have been theatre department promoting a certain play, called "The Vagina Monologues." But, that's just a guess. I think my problem in posting stems from the fact that the photos are not coming from my own saved photos on my computer, but that I am using photos from other sites and they are not saving to my computer. They seem to be saved, I go through the process, only to be told "can not read" or "can not open". I'm looking into the problem, I think some trial programs I had have expired, but I am not sure, Bamawing, thanks for asking. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's new Motivational Posters *hint*

Hah ha! Nice One Blue Sky! Is that sign for real? Reminds me of the Public Health Notice at our swimming pool which read something like: "All water used in this pool has been safely passed by the Manager" It closed not long after....

Oh, Andyb> Hah ha! Nice One Blue Sky! Is that sign for real? Reminds me of the Public Health Notice at our swimming pool which read something like: "All water used in this pool has been safely passed by the Manager" It closed not long after.... I think it was for real, I found it by accident. I sent the Pittsburgh Water and Sewage authority sign to my sister, who lives in Pittsburgh and she said it might have had something to do with a controversy involving the Mayor. Apparently the mayor ordered the city to euthanize flocks of ducks and geese that were over populating in the city water resevoir. She gave me the inside scoop, so maybe it was put up around the resevoir as a joke.
