Hi folks  I'm currently playing 1 of these on another forum - its a small forum but almost every1 takes part, its really caught on, so I thought I would setup one for us. It might not be as successful here, but who knows.. Pub quiz huh? Wel if i find you drunk in charge of a keyboard, i won't be happy..  Like i said, the questions change every day, tho as adim. on this quiz i get to choose the topics. I'l leave it at those topics for a wk or so, if theres a specific subject thats doing every1s heads in, then let me know & il consider changing it.. R. |

I thought q2 was a bit misleading: 2. She was the blonde in 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes', who was she? Your Answer: Marilyn Monroe The correct answer was Lorelei Lee. I was so sure it was Marilyn Monroe that I looked it up on Wikipedia.... 'it is Monroe's self-ironic turn as the gold-digging Lorelei Lee that the film is often remembered for' so both answers were 'correct' but Marilyn wasn't the one they were looking for - oh well.... what subject's next Hobb? andyb |

There is a settign where it generates random Qs, but i thought id set it so we all got the same 1s (seems fairer somehow that way).. Like i mentioned b4, i cant access the quiz site from my work, but il take a look soon as i get home, should be bout 5-5.30ish. Im glad this is taking off a little Tho cant help notice the number of views of this post are way way higher than quiz participants.. Thot i might be getting this quiz mixed up withthe 1 off the other forum im on, but on that forum todays subject is geography, so cant see why the Osbournes would crop up in that topic.. R. |

Right, am home now (thank God - its been far too hot & i work outside alday..). Have rejigged the setting so every1 answers the same questions. The site actually says its prob better to leave it so it doles out random questions, coz that stops cheating, but i reckon its actually fairer to have every1 on the same questions.. Andy, theres a category schedule just under the 'play todays game' icon: Sunday: Sports, general (easier) Monday: General Knowledge (easy) Tuesday: Celebrities (easier) Wednesday: Movies (easier) Thursday: History (easier) Friday: Science & technology (easier) Saturday: World Trivia (easier) nb: the brackety stuff is to do with the settings, theres various difficulties to choose from. Theres also alot more subjects, but i just picked what i thought was a good round bunch of topics. Lol, Im dreading Thursday tho.. R. |

I got 7/10 too - but like celebs i'm not good at movies either and I took a lot longer answering perhaps i should try answering the questions on the sunjects i don't know like I fill in a lottery ticket (randomly) and see what happens .... |
