I'm Buttercup on there guys! Don't ask me how I came to put that instead of Bunnie (yet another senior moment!) ...

You didn't have Gilbert & Sullivan on in the background when you wrote the name by any chance?

"Captain:    I shall marry with a wife,
              In my humble rank of life! (turning to Buttercup)
               And you, my own, are she.
              I must wander to and fro;
               But wherever I may go,
              I shall never be untrue to thee!
Men:        What, never?
Captain:   No, never!
Men:        What, never!
Captain:   Hardly ever!
Men:        Hardly ever be untrue to thee.
              Then give three cheers, and one cheer more
               For the former Captain of the Pinafore.
              Then give three cheers, and one cheer more
               For the Captain of the Pinafore.
Buttercup: For he loves Little Buttercup, dear Little Buttercup,
              Though I could never tell why;
               But still he loves Buttercup, poor Little Buttercup,
              Sweet Little Buttercup, aye!  "

They don't write them like that any more... *sigh*
* andyb thinks back to his earlier thespian days and the infamous incident in the chorus of "Princess Ida" involving a pair of ladies' tights - but of that we shall speak no more...

I love those lyrics Andyb! I actually own the complete volumes of W.S. Gilbert's "The Bab Ballads" and I love them. It is a huge collection, and they have often been quoted from or read out during dinner parties,they are such fun. He was such a witty writer.
