Something's screwy with the dates, at least on my end. if I go to certain boards (the social club being one, R&R being another) and certain threads (Matt's airplane thread is an example, as is the Happy Canada Day thread), my browser is showing me the way the thread looked two days ago, complete with date, people who were on at that time, and the number of posts that were on during that day. I have to refresh to see the more recent posts.

Anyone else noticed this?

Hi Bamz,

Are you using a Comcast proxy in your browser settings?
If so, that would explain it.
Turn off the proxy and you should get a clearer, more up to date view of the forum Smiley

I feel bad bumping this up from so long ago, but the problem resolved itself Huh and now is back. Sad In full force. With nearly every regularly-updating website I visit, which is (lets face it) most of them.

I figure it has something to do with George, perhaps... although he was peachy until yesterday.

So I returned to the thread and asked Dan how about proxies, and he showed me mine... it is already off. Huh

(Do you want me to move this to Bits and Bytes? The problem is with my 'puter, not the site...)

That be well odd my dear Bama.

As is previous in the thread, a Poxy Proxy would have been my first thought, but since it's switched off, it can't be that Huh

I've used Internet Exploder and Firefox, and they've both been OK, but I don't know about other browsers...

I'm on M$ Exploder. *very confused*

I guess I can keep just hitting "refresh" when I need to. There are far worse things my computer could do or not do...

Hi Bama,
If you still get the problem then you could try going in to your Internet Options and clear out all of your Temporary Internet Files, then close and re-open Exploder.
If the problem still persists then it's definitely a Proxy

Thanks, Nick. I did so, and now let's see if it helps. Smiley
