After looking at different hotels we opted for Haven - Marton Mere because it was cheaper to stay there for the week than it was for the 2 nights in a hotel (family of 5) . Not sure if anyone else would be interested in this. If you are maybe some of you could bunk up http://www.havenholidays.com/index.aspx?affiliateid=15&source=affiliates&network=dgmWe've booked for the 17th Sept until the 24th Sept cost £289.00.

Just to keep everyone in the picture, I'm adding a list of attendees to the thread. So far, we have:
Nick and Roni and kids, Val and Bert, Guzzi, Andi, Bigfoot (and family, I think), ScottUK, Paul and Rea, Barry
and myself
If you are definitely coming, or I've got you down by mistake, add / subtract yourself to the bottom of the list.
There are a few good hotels in the area. Some are going to Haven at Marton Mere, Some are going to the Metropole, and there are plenty of B and Bs in the town centre. Further details will be confirmed later.
Ta...
Matt
... Edited to add Barry ...

I wish I could say yes, but I will have to see how it goes with the new addition. Roni, we stayed at Marton Mere last year. The caravan we had there was really good. Wooley

Jane... have you heard of this company? They do cheap flights between the UK and Canada It'd have to be sooooo cheap, I'd be scared. Arrrghh.....that's true, but my other truth is worse--I'm soooo claustrophobic . Methinks my flying days are likely over. Trust you are well still Woo, remember 28th's the day Jane

Geez Louise, I just checked those flights. Holy poo, that's cheap. One flight managed to make it over $300 Canadian dollars. * Bamawing is going to see if heading to England by way of Canada is a viable option. Wow.
