Grin I found the most vivid shocking fluorescent yellow the other day and have been on with a Black and yellow Skull design Sherpa hat and mitts over the weekend, between loading the washer  Grin

I just finished this one too, I promised my daughter I'd make her one on the condition she would model for me, she choose her own colours....

My eldest daughter Kirsty would have been 21 now, but she passed away when she was just a year old... it nearly killed me...then i had my big gorgeous son Barry(he's 18) and finally my wee adorable honeybunny Mollie who's just turned 8.... they are my whole world and more......  Smiley Well I have been spazzing out I must admit  Wink I have been making my Baby Goth Knits for several years now but in the last 6 months there has been quite a few people copying. Not only my designs but I can see how hard they have studied my listings right down to the way I photograph my work, the backgrounds, someone has even pinched my drawn on spooky baby face ! They are putting my skulls all over and trying to copy the boots. Its so annoying but I dont have copyright so cant do anything about it. Anyways, after I stopped sulking  Roll Eyes it just served to make me feel more creative....so heres my latest design, it has taken a little longer to appliche all the roses around the bottom edge but I think its turned out very well (even if I do say so myself)  Wink Right now its the only one on Ebay.....

Nice, nice, nice, Barefoot!  I love it!

It's a shame your work is being copied, but that's apparently par for the course.  Sad  I suppose you could be pleased they think your work is worth copying.

I don't know anything about copyright laws in the UK (or very much about the laws in the US for that matter), but my understanding is that even if you don't register your work, copyright exists the moment it's created.  Is there someone you could call to find out?

 Smiley Thanks ladies  Kiss Kiss

I really dont have the time nor money to go into battle with these copiers. All I can do is just keep doing what I do, they can have all those old designs...they are a few years old now and I am bored of making them  Tongue

What I have now decided to do is collections to come out in the Spring and Autumn... that way I can go creative mad and just flood it all out at once. Quite honestly, and maybe this sounds big headed ? they are copying my charts and ones that can be found on the net, I actually make my own charts and write my own patterns.

I have been approached twice now by people wanting to publish me...so perhaps I ought to get that book ready finally ?

I have pulled that design out the shop (above)
Been working on a girly stripey matinee jacket, an Anarchy tanktop, skull/crossbones jumper
...and am now on with a Rasta Striped 'ban the bomb' jumper  Grin

...I am working through in my head other appliche designs like the one above...maybe cats paws - inspired by your glass box TF...

My last remaining item sold from the Ebay shop at the weekend. They really do go mad for the gear. I sold some babies mittens for £10  Shocked  I will be sure to put a few more of them on the list !  Wink

Wow we have some VERY talented people in here! And my goodness TF your work is AMAZING!!!! I saw some stuff you had posted in another section of your beautiful stained glass box and all I can say is B E A U T I F U L! As for me.....I can do push ups with my legs on my shoulder...quite the contortionist hahahaha! But....that's about it....other than a little piano tinkering! I wish I had a beautiful artistic talent like some of you ladies....maybe I should try to take it up! Any helpful tips? I've always drawn/painted on the level of about a 3rd grader! hahaha Which was awesome..when I was in 3rd grade!

Jenn, find something you think you'd like to try and take a class.  I've messed with crafts of one type or another for decades.  I did needlework, basket weaving, and candle making (which I thought was THE niche for me) and then I found glass.  I took a class in 2003 just because it sounded like fun, and I was hooked.  The more I branch out, the more I find there is to do with it.  Who'da thunk glass would be such a versatile medium?

If you can follow a pattern, you can do stained glass.

Grin Its gorgeous TF ! Living in a seaside town here, it reminds me of when I was a kid watching them roll out the sticks of rock in the rock shop. I dunno if you have sticks of rock over there ? Its basically coloured flavoured sugar, rolled out into different lengths and thickness, packaged with tradionally a photo of the seaside town that you are buying it from.

I have been so busy here, desperately trying to get stock together for my Spring collection. I am a woman possessed at the moment, with all sorts of ideas and crazy projects going on. I am saving up for a new bed, and hoping to make at least £300 in the next few months from my hobbies. I still havnt got anywhere with the book, I dont know where to start quite honestly, I cant face putting my pile of scrappy paper graphs, scribbles and notes that I understand as patterns, in any sort of order. Too busy making things  Wink

I have been making :
Guitar Pick rubber thong necklaces
Guitar Pick Dummy clips/straps
Earrings/pendants out of some wicked Bat lampwork beads
Baby Goth 'new baby' cards...yes, black with skulls/pewter Mary Janes  Wink
Luxury 100% Merino Wool knits
and loads of Goth knits, including, the afore mentioned Rasta/peace baby, cat paws hoody, flames tanktop, checked Docs (allready sold), flame Docs.....
