Hi there, stumbled across this forum while looking for info on TV.  Wondering if anyone can answer a question or two for me?  First off, i think i got TV starting last year (i'm almost 40) after a trip to Mexico.  I go to a warm destination every year after Christmas, usually in January.  I noticed what i now think was TV just after i got back last year?  At first i thought it was simply the way my back/shoulders were peeling from the sun and it went away on it's own a couple months later?  Well, this last Jan i went away again and after a few weeks of being back, the same thing, this time worse.  Again, thought at first it was peeling but after a month or more of it getting worse (spreading) i went to the doc and he confirmed it was TV.  Didn't give me much info at all (surprise surprise  Roll Eyes) but gave me a prescription for Terbinifine (sp?) (1 pill daily for 10 days) and said that would clear it up.  Well, that's well over a month (almost 2) ago and i'm not sure it's worked?  The surrounding skin is getting lighter as it fades from the tan (what's left of it) but what i'm wondering now is this.....If i were to go out in the sun and get a tan, would the lighter "affected" areas tan or will they stay lighter?  It's one thing if they tan and the darker still slightly tanned skin does the same and is always a bit darker, but i don't wanna get sun and find that the affected areas won't tan at all?Huh?  Anyone know how this works?   Undecided

Hello
I am a 19yr old suffering from severe TV covering my whole chest area and my back all the way down to my butt forming a sort of V or triangular shape on both sides of my body. At times the TV starts to spead down to my knees ( so I have random spots covering my thighs and few on my arms). Its quite dreadfull but the worst part is my TV spreads very aggresively if I dont treat it..

I have tried several treatments for the past year and consulted a doctor, and I was wondering whether if this conversation is still going on since I need some advice.
thanks
Katrina
