There is a vendor on the web which sells a very, very expensive small line of products, apparently containing some zinc, but which does not list the full ingredients or the chemical forms of the zinc used the product line.  Why would anyone spend in excess of $100 for such unknowns?

Zinc Oxide creams in many forms can be had for $2 to $10 dollars.  Even for those with a variety of skin problems, zinc oxide products have a very low potential for harm to those who use them cautiously and with good judgement.  That means, use them with some actual idea why they might help your particular problem, and use them on small test areas first to see if they improve your situation.

Do NOT allow your wallet to be skinned with some vague notion that the product has got to be good just because it is so expensive.  Vague questions about such products by people entirely ignorant of their properties must be allowed in forums such as this because people NEED to be able to share information and ideas without spending a fortune on doctors who are often quite speculative themselves in the treatments they try.  In this case, the very question directs people to an EXCEEDINGLY, OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive product with virtually no good information to back it up.  SOME desperate people will buy it just because they are desperate for relief.

So even questions can have a serious potential to spread harm to those who can't evaluate them with some care.
