I,m going to guess that you mean that the fetus had an extra finger on one of his hands.  I have mixed feelings here.  The woman probably was not emotionally or intellectually capable of being a good mother if she lightly came to this decision.  But if she had a doctor who did not attempt to dissuade her from, or who encouraged her to have an abortion solely for this reason, the doctor is a fool, a criminal, or both.  Other questions that have some bearing...was she married?....if so was the husband consulted?  How far along was the pregnancy?  My personal opinion is this.  In the first trimester, a woman should have the absolute right to terminate an unwanted pregnancy without restriction unless the father goes to court and fights for the life of the unborn child.  Abortion during the second trimester should have several restrictions.  Third trimester abortions should be prohibited unless the life of the mother is at unusually great risk.

I do too read the whoe thread.  I just don't always pay attention.  Or my mind goes off on a tangent.  But I'm glad there was something more wrong with the baby.  ....No, that can't be right!

Personally, I think most tabloid reporters should be terminated...

If they cant report the news accurately, why bother at all?  Evil

I agree with you Guzz.

My sister once made it into a tabloid newspaper because she fell off a horse. Nothing extreme about that but they had to get an air ambulance out because of the location of the accident (no ambulance could get to her). That was enough apparently... only it wasn't.

My sister was released from the hospital with shock. According to the News of the World she had multiple broken bones, concussion and goodness knows what else.

It was around then that I realised you can't take anything that you read in those papers seriously.
