Thigh Skin Discoloration? can anyone help?

Hi, my girlfriend had some skin discoloration (darker) on her inner left thigh and seeing as she says she can't afford to see the doctor I'm asking for advice here. It's apparently painless, feels just like normal skin and is not raised at all, also it doesn't itch. It's like lots of rings joined together (each ring about the size of a quarter), dark on the edges and light in the middle.

Now she uses her laptop computer A LOT (most of the time she has it on her lap) and the thing gets very hot on the bottom, especially on the left hand side, could this be the cause? She says she's not been ill at all and the only way to notice it is to look - it doesn't affect her in any other way. Does anyone have any ideas?

The skin decolration ur girlfiend may have if its in circles on the leg it could be ring worm of the body which i think they look like brown circles and some i think are white. Do either of you have pets, as you can get it through pets.

Im not sure it might not be  ring worm, there is a skin disorder that changes the colour of peoples skin, but im afaird i do not know what is called im affaird sorry.

It could be a good idea to go to the doctorjust to check whta it is.
If you think its the laptop that she rest on her legs, try make her go without puting on her lap, but i wouldn't think it would be the laptop.
