That's the catch.

The chat will only recognise your username, not your screen name.
It's specifically one of the reasons I introduced the replacement chat room, to stop non-members from entering chat and also to prevent others from assuming a persons identity.

Oh, there is one minor glitvh that members using Firefox might notice.

Smileys !

Flash is the one thing that Firefox does not handle as well as other browsers.
There's a problem with Firefox's cache that may allow smileys to appear when you first enter chat, but if you then leave and come back in you might only see the normal smiley 'code' instead of the graphics.

It can sometimes be resolved by coming out of chat, clearing out your cache and then restarting Firefox.

Hopefully the Devs at Fx will sort this out soon

From the few minutes I was in there last night, I think it is fab!

Nick, AC, Mikey and J, sorry I ran in, talked at you all and then left. I feel really rude now    Embarrassed

I hate it when I can't sleep.

It's cool, thanks for talking y'all.

The thing is I was having trouble finding something "Normal/Neutral" to use as the skin/background.  All the choices seemed a bit "busy".

Was there something I was missing, like a setting or something?

Lurker, I think you can set the "busy" background to not be visible.  I was playing around with it a little bit yesterday and I don't remember where among the options it appeared, but when I checked it (whatever it is) the scenery disappeared and I was left with a plain-colored background.
