I finally got around to planting the garden this weekend, after weeks and weeks of unhospitable weather. SO god be willing I will have crops of tomotes, peppers. broccolli, yellow squash, zuccini, and cucumbers.

Oh, I love fresh-from-the-garden veggies!
Bri, how do you keep the bunnies out of your garden? That's been the biggest problem for us.

Well done Bri, that is brilliant I hope you enjoy your veggies. My DH dug a border in our mess of a garden at the weekend and pulled up a few slabs to lay some turf. It looks so much better already. Really pleased. Wooley

Bri, how do you keep the bunnies out of your garden? That's been the biggest problem for us. I have a very simple fence and gate around it.....It is made aout of plastic coated chicken wire, it is about 2 1/2 to 3 feet tall and but you have to bury a portion of it in the ground. I think about 6 inches down is good.

Will you be doing it organically ? Or using the old pesticides ? Well..... I've been lucky so far that I haven't had to use anything yet......I ususally try to go the organic route but if I really have to I will break out the pesticide. Is that a climbing rose peeping over the fence, pretty colour Yes it is....Good eye CP..... I posted some flower pictures last year, maybe I will take some more and post them this year...... This year I got the flower bug bad.....Every couple of days I am coming home with more flowers and Christine just looks at me and shakes her head......I know she is wondering were I think I am going to plant them, but I always find a place.

aww yes please Bri, I'd love to see your flowers. I remember the photos you posted, absolutely gorgeous I miss my little courtyard I used to be just the same, once you get the bug, you just cant help buying more...... I have planted out a few plants here I had in pots, but my heart isnt in it, as the place is rented. I think the hardest part for me of moving was leaving my plants....ones that I had nurtured over years.... *sigh* one day, I will have my own little space to potter about again in ...til then please indulge me with your photos Yeah, you defo deserve a beer for that !
