Exactly what is involved in getting this procedure done?  I recently had allergy testing of foods and the environmental stuff, but unfortunately the results did not tell me anything that I already know (I have mild allergy to ragweed, weeds dust, but no foods,  etc).  I was hoping something would show up that might be a factor in my eczema condition.   I want to know and want it proven that I AM allergic to nickel, lanolin, some leathers, whatever whatever etc., but I’m not sure that the derm that sent me for the first test would be convinced that further testing would prove anything.  Can someone tell me what is generally done in doing patch testing?  Approximately how many different individual tests are done?  How long does the procedure take?  Did your dermatologist or your family physician refer you?  I haven’t had the follow up appointment with the derm yet, so I’d like to be prepared to say something about further testing.  Thanks.   Huh
