I hope it's okay my saying this, but it's been a difficult time on this forum and I'd just like to add my 2 penn'th:
To all the veteran Skincell members: I've tried to keep up but I could see it's been rough. Well done for getting through it. Well done for keeping this incredible website going. If I knew how to list all the new threads by people daring to introduce themselves I'd do it: but if you ever wonder why you're still contributing, check out the 'hello's (or other hesitant greetings) on this section alone. I think it's extraordinary and inspiring.
To veteran and new members: having any kind of skin condition is distressing at the very least. A lot of very good people have worked very hard to make this a safe place to be, and may be posting here in considerable pain and discomfort - physical or mental: respect that - and know that others are respecting you.
To new members, or guests thinking about joining: you have found an invaluable resource. Remember that it really is a family friendly site, not a bar near closing time.
I've worked all my life in the health sector and an equal amount of time as a service user. I've never seen anything like this before. It's a diamond. If you have any kind of skin condition you don't need to suffer alone. This is a quiet society of caring people who have experience of the kind of issues you face, and are quite likely facing them daily themselves. No-one has a right answer, but everyone wants to help, or at the very least give a virtual hug.
And here's mine -

to you
all!
