Does the cruise take you to the different monuments?
I'd like to see the monuments in the nation's capital.

As I recall, the cruises go up/down the Potomac River--probably not near the monuments. I'll see what I can find out.
I have a file I put together a month or two ago with various sights to be seen and basic info. IM me if anyone wants it--I think it's too large to post. I'm not sure it includes cruise information, tho, as I wasn't really looking for that at the time.

Okay, maybe what I'll do is convert it to html and put it up on my website. Then I can just post a link to it. But that'll have to wait till the weekend, I think. totalfolly

Hey TF, that looks great! Very helpful I like the "allow a minimum of x amount of time" thing. Good to have some estimates (albeit average/conservative). Thanks for putting that up! And maybe we could put up any other things that might be of help, such as good hotels/restaurants (perhaps Bama/Sundog can send you the hotel info they were looking at?) - lurker

I actually liked that idea from the start, Ian. I think Bama wanted that as well, hence the Bed and Breakfast idea...

I figured that having one central place would be best. Of course, TF and Sundog live there, and my hubby will probably want to stay with his cousin. But I think it would be easiest if everyone who wanted to could stay at once place. I'll send TF the link to all the places I found. *messes a bit; hits "modify" button* OK, I couldn't exactly find the URL. If y'all think it's necessary, I'll pound away until I do. But to be honest, I think I already got the good stuff up on the boards. Hmmm... before we get ahead of ourselves, let's officially decide if we will be all staying in one place. This would be easier logistically, and we might could swing a group/non-profit rate. On the other hand, staying in seperate places and having a non-lodging HQ would free people up to stay where they wanted, close in, far out, ritzy or cheap. I think I smell another poll comming...

Thanks, Nick. I usually go bananas when I try to coordinate something (You should have seen the disaster that was my wedding planning), but everyone here has been *WONDERFUL* with helping with ideas, hotel information, things to do, details on the type of areas involved, ect. I'm just glad this is going to happen! Thanks, everybody!!!!!
