I found this site interesting.

It's someone's success story with a totally raw vegan diet.

Let me know what you think.

Does anybody have any experience with this?

sky doctor~

when i eat mostly raw foods in a day my skin is wonderful. but its pretty hard! and i dont do it much cuz i need to gain weight if anything  Smiley

juicing in the morning has helped me tremendously. 1 apple, a handful of italian parsley, spinach, carrots.. whatever you like. i just add the greens for detoxing. it takes care of my raw foods for the day, and i try to eat a small green salad with lunch when i can. eating raw foods takes the burden of digesting off of our bodies, with our limited enzyme availability, 1 piece of raw fruit or veggie contains enough enzymes in it to digest itself, and when we cook our veggies it destroys the enzymes in them. our bodies put digesting as first priority over our health and if we are constantly eating all day and not supplementing our diets with enough raw foods it puts strain on our systems which can cause problems. i believe the root cause of a lot of skin issues begins in the digestive process, stomach, gut.

I have heard of this, Sky Doctor, but I have not tried it myself.

I can see where this would be an improvement over convential "cooked" foods as most cooked foods have lost their vitamins/minerals/nutrients and also they are cooked in oil or have salt, sugar, etc. added to them.

Having said that, I don't see why a vegetarian stir fry diet using olive oil only would be any different?

i added that last part about enzymes after i read her article. she said she was still sick with cooked veggies, so i assumed that was her problem.
